HappyTail Carrier™ Return & Exchange Policy
We want you and your pup to be genuinely happy with your HappyTail Carrier™. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
1. Return Window
You may return eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date.
2. Condition of Items
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

Unused and unwashed

Free of pet hair, stains, or odors

In its original packaging with all tags and accessories included
If an item is returned worn, heavily used, or damaged (not due to a manufacturing defect), we may decline the return or issue a partial refund.
3. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If we made a mistake
If your order arrives defective, damaged in transit, or we sent the wrong item, we’ll cover the cost of return shipping or send a replacement at no extra cost to you. -
If you changed your mind
If you ordered the wrong size, your dog just isn’t a fan, or you no longer want the item for any reason not related to damage/defect, you are responsible for return shipping. You can use any carrier you prefer with tracking.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we can’t be responsible for lost return packages.
4. Exchanges
Need a different size or color?

The fastest way is to return the item for a refund and place a new order for the correct item.

In some cases, we may be able to do a direct exchange depending on inventory. Feel free to reach out and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
5. Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

Items marked “Final Sale” at checkout

Heavily worn or damaged items not caused by manufacturing defects

Gift cards
6. Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or you believe it has a manufacturing defect:

Contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Include your order number, a brief description, and clear photos of the issue.
We’ll review your request and, if approved, offer a replacement or refund and cover any necessary shipping.
7. How to Start a Return

We’ll reply with simple instructions and any additional details you need to complete your return.
8. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to let you know whether your refund is approved. If approved:

Refunds are issued to your original form of payment

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement (timing depends on your bank/credit card)
Original shipping costs paid on the order are non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error (defective, damaged, or incorrect item).
